Brief Description
In 2017, the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection published the "Publishing Advocation and Socialization Guideline for Female Circumcision Prevention for Leaders and Religious Agency". This guideline will provide tool for religious leaders and known religious agency to convince society that there is no verse or religion text, religion teaching regarding female circumcision; no medical benefits; and no social/behavioral consequences. This guideline have been widely spread in South Kalimantan and North Sumatera.
